The Early Childhood Policy Research Group (ECPRG) is excited to announce the release of version 5.1 of the Florida Index of Child Care Access (FLICCA)!
The new version provides enhancements that are responsive to the feedback and suggestions that we received from Early Learning Coalitions and the Florida Department of Education Division of Early Learning personnel during our recent statewide listening tour. Notable tool improvements include:
- With the addition of Fiscal Year 23-24, the FLICCA tool now includes 5 Fiscal Years
- Inclusion of CLASS threshold 4.5
- We have implemented a more refined method for excluding providers who do not serve children ages birth-five, resulting in a more specific measure of available providers.
